Representatives from 91µÎµÎ's Government Affairs and Professional Affairs departments are presenting at the New Orleans event, and participating in important conversations about issues affecting counselors and the counseling profession.

Licensing boards do not lobby state legislatures, but they can and do present information to the legislatures on how the boards can be more effective, or how proposed changes would affect them. 91µÎµÎ can work with board members on this process—in addition to working with 91µÎµÎ state chapters on the best ways to support (or oppose) legislation impacting licensing boards that ultimately affects counselors.
